FAA Part 107 Certification Preparation

8-Week Course of Study

The UAS Operations & Aviation Systems (FAA Part 107 Certification Preparation) program is an 8-week structured aviation systems course designed to prepare students for entry into the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulatory environment and the broader aviation industry.

This program goes beyond simple test preparation. Students develop foundational literacy in airspace structure, aviation weather, regulations, operational risk management, and professional decision-making within the national airspace system.

Instruction emphasizes disciplined study, regulatory comprehension, and systems-based understanding of how unmanned aircraft integrate into the aviation ecosystem. Students are trained to think like aviation professionals, not hobby operators.

Program Structure:
• 8 weeks of structured instruction
• FAA-aligned content framework
• Operational and regulatory systems training
• Course completion certificate

Upon course completion, students participate in a required FAA Exam Readiness & Scheduling Seminar. This structured session confirms exam readiness, walks students through the FAA registration process, and guides them into the next stage of their aviation pathway.

This program serves as the foundational entry point into Kestrel Aviation Training Academy’s expanding aviation ground career pathways, which will include airport operations, safety compliance, and technical workforce training.
